UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School Graduates 12th Global OneMBA Class
Chapel Hill, N.C. (PRWEB) June 15, 2015 -- The University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School graduated its 12th class of OneMBA®, the global executive MBA program, on June 13, 2015.
The executives began their studies in 2013 in Washington, D.C. with students from OneMBA partner schools Tecnológico de Monterrey Graduate School of Business Administration and Leadership (EGADE) in Mexico, Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM) in the Netherlands and Escola de Administração de Empresas de São Paulo da Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV-EAESP) in Brazil.
“OneMBA students entered the program having already achieved significant accomplishments and developed their global skill sets and knowledge during the program,” said Jayashankar Swaminathan, OneMBA associate dean and the GlaxoSmithKline Distinguished Professor of Operations at UNC Kenan-Flagler. “They graduate ready to redefine the role of a global business leader.”
During the 21-month program, they worked with their worldwide class on global virtual project teams, a significant component of OneMBA. They also networked with classmates from the four partner schools and learned from partner-school faculty and local business leaders during residencies in The Netherlands, Turkey, Mexico, Brazil, India, China and the United States.
This class averaged 12 years work experience at organizations such as Dell, GE Healthcare, Intel, Honeywell, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, T-Mobile and UBS. They traveled from Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Maryland, New Jersey, Ohio, Ontario, Canada, Virginia, Washington, D.C. and around North Carolina to take their UNC OneMBA classes.
