UNCF Builds Stronger Communities Through Education at the Howard County Leaders’ Luncheon
(PRWEB) October 16, 2017 -- WHAT: Building stronger communities through education is the focus of the second annual UNCF (United Negro College Fund) Howard County Leaders’ Luncheon on October 19th. More than 100 community influencers are scheduled to attend, including keynote speaker United States Rep. Elijah Cummings, honorary chair Lou Hutt, president and CEO of The Hutt Company and Lisa Salters, Monday Night Football’s side line reporter. Benefitting the next generation of leaders, the event will raise vitally needed funds for students wishing to fulfill their dreams of obtaining a college education. Events such as these, helped award more than $5 million last year to the thousands of students who attend colleges across Washington, D.C., Virginia and Maryland.
