UNCF Chicago Announces New Area Development Director
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) September 23, 2016 -- UNCF is pleased to announce Kathleen Jackson as the new area development director advancing fundraising efforts for the Chicago market. In this role, Jackson is responsible for establishing short- and long-range fundraising goals and conducting long-term strategic planning to diversify fundraising activities with an emphasis on annual giving, major gifts and special events that support the 37 UNCF-member institutions. In addition, Jackson will serve as an ambassador for UNCF, engaging donors and leveraging key relationships to ensure that revenue goals are met.

Prior to joining UNCF, Jackson, an accomplished fundraiser, worked with a broad range of corporations, nonprofits and foundations for over 15 years. Earning her B.S. from Chicago State University in Business Administration, Jackson is committed to helping youth not only attend college but stay in college and accomplish their dreams.
