Unique Venues Wraps Up Its Best Year By Announcing the Third Annual 'Best Of' Award Winners in 20+ Categories
EDWARDS, COLORADO (PRWEB) December 01, 2016 -- It’s been a big year for Unique Venues as the membership organization celebrates 30 years of connecting meeting and event planners with the non-traditional spaces they desire. But it’s an even better year for the 20+ recipients of Unique Venues Third Annual Best of Awards.
The prized UVYs (U-Vees) are a one-of-a-kind honor recognizing the properties that often get overlooked by other industry awards, with categories ranging from “best venue on a per diem,” “best locally sourced catering,” “best reunion spot,” “best youth or sports camp venue,” and more in 19 total titles. Unique Venues also names five winners of effective marketing awards, as well as the distinguished People of the Year, which highlights the 12 original members of the organization that helped lead the way to the important anniversary. Each winner is recognized in the latest Winter Issue of Unique Venues magazine, which will be delivered to planners across the U.S. and Canada in December.
“The Best of Awards are our niche industry’s chance to shine. Not only do our new class of honorees stand out on their own, but they also prove just how much the non-traditional segment truly impacts the greater market for meeting and event venues,” says Unique Venues Founder Michele Nichols. “All of our winners are true trendsetters and leaders, and evident of the current demand for unique spaces and services.”
In addition to the Best of Awards, the new Winter Issue has 90-plus pages full of rich content targeted to planners, including a look at the trend of using Facebook Live to market events, a trip to Denver to see five venues that are elevating social and corporate gatherings, tips on the best ways to use Snapchat to attract customers, and food and drink recipes that can be adapted for upcoming meetings or parties.
The magazine is distributed free of charge to professional and accredited planners in the U.S. and Canada. As well, the magazine is delivered electronically to an additional 36,000+ professional and freelance planners. To join the mailing list for Unique Venues magazine, simply register here.
In addition, the UniqueVenues.com website features a comprehensive database of all member listings including contact information, photo and video galleries, menus, meeting room capacities, a free RFP service and more.
