Unite Us and Brighton Marine Form Partnership to Boost Efficiency of Veteran Care
Boston, MA (PRWEB) October 05, 2017 -- Brighton Marine, an expanding hub of resources for Veterans, and Unite Us, a Veteran owned health & human services software company, have formed a partnership that will help create streamlined and coordinated care for Massachusetts Veterans. The first fully integrated network of its kind in the Greater Boston Area will launch on Veterans Day and is expected to grow to cover the entire Commonwealth and its nearly 370,000 Veterans.
The centralized network connects local Veteran service providers together to coordinate care, track outcomes, improve access, increase collaboration, and enable communities to provide more comprehensive levels of service. Let’s say a Veteran comes to Brighton Marine in need of counseling, a job, financial assistance, and access to health services; Brighton Marine can facilitate referrals to the best providers in each area after a short interview. The end goal – to streamline and simplify the process for the Veteran while tracking that the right help is provided.
“Our partnership with Unite Us brings Brighton Marine one step closer to fulfilling a vision of providing easier access to services and benefits for service members, Veterans and their families in the Greater Boston Area,” said Michael Dwyer, CEO of Brighton Marine. “We expect this program to better connect the public, private and non-profit experts in and around Boston to set the stage for future expansion to service providers across the Commonwealth. We believe this program fills a gap for both providers and the military and Veteran community.”
“Unite Us is a proud to partner with Brighton Marine, as our missions are aligned to improve the health and well-being of our Military and Veteran community,” said Dan Brillman, CEO of Unite Us. “For us, this is an exciting and new opportunity to continue to expand our National footprint of Coordinated Networks into Massachusetts. Brighton Marine has been a leader in supporting Veterans and making a difference in the Commonwealth, and we are thrilled to be part of the solution to put impactful and efficient programs into action.“
