United Benefit Advisors and Sun Life Financial to Host “The Trump Effect: Potential Changes on the Employee Benefits Horizon” Webinar
Indianapolis, IN (PRWEB) April 25, 2017 -- As President Trump challenges the status quo in Washington, D.C., CEOs, CFOs and HR decision-makers are preparing for how his administration could impact the employee benefits industry. James Slotnick, AVP, Government Relations, for Sun Life Financial will provide insight into what changes are most likely to make it through Congress. His discussion will focus on the current state of repealing and replacing the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA), the likelihood of corporate and individual tax reform, how federal paid family leave could become a reality, and other important issues.
To help HR professionals and business owners get prepared for any potential changes to the employee benefits industry, United Benefit Advisors (UBA), in conjunction with Sun Life Financial, will host a webinar—“The Trump Effect: Potential Changes on the Employee Benefits Horizon”—on Wednesday, May 3, at 2:00 p.m. EDT. To receive complimentary access to the webinar, enter code SLMay http://www.at registration. This webinar has been submitted for 1.25 re-certification credit hours from the Human Resource Certification Institute.
“While it seems less likely that we will see a full repeal and replacement of the Affordable Care Act in 2017, the law’s future remains in question. Employers need insight more now than ever in order to make the right decisions for their workforce and cost management,” says James Slotnick, Assistant Vice President, Government Relations at Sun Life Financial.
