San Antonio, Texas (PRWEB) April 06, 2014 -- “We are committed to making it easy for site visitors to find information quickly and easily,” said Karla Sarran, marketing director. “Now that we have a responsive website, the layout automatically changes, scales and adapts to the device a visitor uses to view it, whether that is a PC, laptop, tablet or smart phone.”
According to a May 2013 study by Pew Research, 63% of adult cell owners use their phones to go online and of this group, 34% go online mostly using their phones, and not using some other device such as a desktop or laptop computer.
“This was a challenging project,” said Nick Torres, web developer for UNITED SA. The design work took about 12 months and included analyzing the origin of our website visitors. “We have experienced a steady increase in mobile device usage, and we wanted to make sure these visitors received an experience that is consistent with our desktop users,” said Torres.
Along with the design changes that users see, there was also an emphasis on the back end that will allow us to continually refine and optimize the site for our users,” explained Torres. “We will keep evolving with technology to ensure our visitor experience is the best it can be.”
