United States Air Force Signs Agreement to Use OASIS Program; US Federal Contractor Registration Helps Businesses Bid on Available OASIS Program Contracts
Orlando, FL (PRWEB) December 30, 2013 -- After two RFP extended deadlines originally set for September 17th, 2013 and October 10th, 2013, the GSA’s OASIS Program looks forward to the future in 2014. In the best news for the OASIS Program since its release in late August, the United State Air Force has signed on with the GSA to post some of their available government contracts through the OASIS Program. The One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services or better known as OASIS is designed to award registered government contractors large indefinite delivery and indefinite quantity contracts. The OASIS Program would save federal departments money and provide qualified professional services from qualified registered government contractors.
Randall D. Culpepper, Program Executive of Combat and Mission Support for the Office of the Asst. Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition stated, “Our partnership with GSA on OASIS allows us preserve precious resources while putting in place a tool that is exceptionally responsive to the needs of defense organizations supporting the warfighter. We think this will be a great long-term relationship that will get us a lot of bang for the acquisition bucks that we have.” Businesses interested in finding out more about the OASIS Program have been contacting US Federal Contractor Registration, the world’s largest third party registration firm to learn more about the process.
In order for businesses to participate in government contracting, federal acquisition regulations require that they first register in the System for Award Management, or SAM. This database of federal contractors replaced the now defunct Central Contractor Registration and Online Representations and Certifications Application systems in July of 2012. Users who were previously registered with CCR and ORCA must migrate their registration to SAM in order to remain eligible for federal contract and grant awards; businesses new to government contracting must complete their new registration with SAM. US Federal Contractor Registration for the past 6 months has been helped businesses bid on OASIS contracts and OASIS Small Business contracts on FedBizOpps.
US Federal Contractor Registration is a third party registration firm that has helped thousands of businesses complete their registration and bid on contracts. US Federal Contractor Registration pairs businesses with a dedicated case manager who helps them every step of the way, from initial registration to bidding on contracts.
