United Tool & Die Acquires Smith Brothers Machine Co.―Changes Name to United Tool & Machine
Wilmington, MA (PRWEB) March 11, 2014 -- United Tool & Die Co., Inc., a contract manufacturer specializing in wire EDM, manual machining and metal stamping, grinding and forming, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Smith Brothers Machine Company, a precision CNC milling and turning company located in Rockport, MA.
In addition, United Tool & Die has announced a name change to United Tool & Machine Co., Inc. The name change is a result of the acquisition and reflects the company’s long-term growth strategy to better meet the needs of OEM’s for high quality, responsive, domestic machining operations.
