UniteU® Announces UMO™ Sales Assistant, a Turnkey Mobile Engagement Application for Retailers, at IRCE 2015

UMO Sales Assistant, is a sister solution to UMO™ Mobile POS, UniteU’s advanced retail sales assistant and payment solution that runs on iOS devices that have an attached barcode reader and transaction-processing sled. The UMO Sales Assistant features are similar to the mobile POS solution, except that the transaction hardware is not required for operation. This mean that retailers can inexpensively implement the solution to begin positively impacting their revenues immediately.
Using the application on any retailer-supplied Apple® iPad® or iPad mini® device, store associates are able to provide more value while engaging with customers by having instant access to relevant and precise information, including shopper buying history, rich product content, enterprise-wide visibility of inventory and smarter product cross-sell recommendations. This results in significant increases to average order values, in-store conversion rates and revenue.

Sales personnel can order these products as ship-to items, and manually enter credit card information to transact with the customer in-aisle. This not only saves the sale, but drives up profitability by increasing in-store conversion and also by giving sales associates access to relational product data, such as similar items, recommended products and accessories, and best-selling items that increase the average order size.
