Similarly, another patient would go into anaphylactic shock and would require immediate injection of steroids to save his life if he came in contact with milk or eggs. “Within a couple of weeks after treatment, the patient called the office to excitedly tell us that he was eating an egg omelet with cheese,” said Dr. Van Skyhock. He has not had any trouble eating eggs or milk products since.
