University Business Magazine And Higher One Honor Eight Colleges And Universities As "Models Of Efficiency"
Norwalk, Connecticut (PRWEB) November 20, 2014 -- NORWALK, CONN.— (November 20, 2014) —University Business magazine and Higher One, Inc. are honoring eight colleges and universities in the Winter 2014 round of the “Models of Efficiency” program. “Models of Efficiency,” a national recognition program launched by the magazine in 2010 in partnership with Higher One, honors institutions of higher learning that meet the education business and technology challenges of today’s campuses.
Each honoree is recognized for its efforts in streamlining operations, resulting in improved services being provided in less time, often requiring fewer staff hours and at a lower cost.
“Higher education institutions are taking initiative to improve faculty and student experiences in ways previously deemed impossible,” said JD Solomon, editorial director of University Business. “These eight honorees demonstrate how innovative solutions can be determined and applied across campus. We’re pleased to honor their achievements.”
The Winter 2014 honorees are: University of Montana (Missoula, Mo.); Marist College (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.); Pratt Institute (Brooklyn, N.Y.); Wright State University (Dayton, Ohio); Western Iowa Tech Community College (Sioux City, Iowa); Portland State University (Portland, Ore.); University of Alabama (Tuscaloosa, Ala.); and College of the Desert (Palm Desert, Calif.).
