Uniweld Products, Inc. Visits Air Tech in Aruba to Provide HVAC/R Training seminar to their industry related professionals.
Aruba (PRWEB) July 14, 2015 -- The Air Tech seminar in Aruba, in conjunction with Galpa Export, covered the gamete of Uniweld’s product line including brazing equipment, NV1 Nitrogen Flow indicator, portable hand torches, renowned EZ Turn adaptors/hoses and Uniweld’s wide selection of brazing tips.
The brazing tips that grabbed the most attention of the attendees were the Cap’n Hook Tips. The Cap’n Hook tips come in either 5, 9 or 17 flames and features a patented hook design with five flames that provide 100% wraparound on the copper tubing. The even heat distribution eliminates cool spots on the copper and ensures a clean and solid braze. Uniweld’s K23P-T and K22P-T with Cap’n Hook brazing tips are among the most popular portable brazing outfits. Many of the technicians commented on the MTF-5, saying that it would be ideal for brazing near sensitive components such as a filter drier because the 45° flame angle directs the torch flames away from it. Another big hit was the MTT Flexible Twin adjustable tip which is also ideal for tight areas and for elbow connections on fan coils because it protects the aluminum.
Technicians were also interested in the NV1NitroVue Nitrogen flow indicator as Mario Portillo exemplified the importance of purging with nitrogen during the brazing process and how this affects the system. By using Uniweld’s NV1 NitroVue, a technician is able to flow nitrogen at 3-5 SCFH thought the system to displace all the oxygen present inside the tubing. Videos presented resonated with the attendees specifically the EZ Turn™ video which effectively demonstrated how the EZ Turn™ fitting works by using a well-designed demo stand allowing end users to visually see the difference between popular service hoses being used in the industry today and the new EZ Turn™ hose.
At the end of the seminar, attendees left with useful industry knowledge and a fresh, new Uniweld cap. The audience was very interactive and had some great questions. Uniweld this year proudly celebrates 66 years of manufacturing excellence in the U.S.A. and continues to not only supply HVAC/R technicians with quality tools but also with the training to use those tools safely and effectively. After the event, Mario Portello stated that, "Having the opportunity to share the stage with Danfoss, in educating industry professionals about safety procedures & product knowledge, was gratifying knowing that they can take that useful information, benefit from it and implement it into their day to day jobs."
