Unruh Insurance & Financial Advisors Joins Local Nonprofit Organization in Charity Drive to Assist At-Risk Youth in Colorado
Windsor, CO (PRWEB) July 27, 2017 -- Unruh Insurance & Financial Advisors, a family owned financial services and insurance management agency serving communities throughout northern Colorado, is teaming up with the A Precious Child organization in a charity event aimed at providing support to at-risk children in the greater Windsor area.
A Precious Child works to assist young people who are struggling with homelessness, poverty, abuse, and other difficult environments. Programs offered by A Precious Child include food and clothing drives as well as the annual Fill A Backpack Drive that provides at-risk young people with backpacks stuffed with scholastic and educational supplies to equip them for the coming school year.
“Every child in our community deserves every advantage when it comes to education, and our goal is to help this organization as they work to provide 12,000 children with the materials they need to succeed in school,” says Sherry Unruh, founder and acting director of Unruh Insurance & Financial Advisors.
Efforts to publicize the ongoing charity event to provide for area schoolchildren are already underway, as Unruh and her team work to make new connections with area families and educators over email and social media channels.
