Sporty Everyday Performance
The Macan is a sports car that has five doors and five seats, but the all new Macan is anything but ordinary. Dramatic acceleration combined with a powerful engine and all-wheel-drive agility deliver a vehicle that thirsts for experience and thrills. This power is harnessed and available when needed, but is extremely comfortable for everyday driving.
The design of the Macan is obviously a Porsche featuring a wraparound hood and gently sloping roof line to give the overall impression of sporty elegance with powerful dynamics. The interior of the Macan resembles a sports car including the forward-sloping center console with a high-set gear selector to draw the driver further into the cockpit. Although considered compact, the luggage compartment boasts 17.6 cu.ft. of volume, which can be increased to 53.0 cu.ft. by folding down the three-way rear bench seat.
Two Powerful Trims
Available in two trims - the Macan S and Macan Turbo both boast impressive standard equipment including all-wheel drive, PDK, all-new multi-function sport steering wheel with paddle shifters, 19-inch wheels, a high-performance audio system, and an electronically operated tailgate.
Powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine, the Macan S delivers 340 hp and accelerates from zero to 60 mph in 5.0 seconds. The Macan Turbo features a 3.6-liter twin-turbo V6 engine that delivers an impressive power output of 400 hp. It sprints from 0 to 60 mph in a mere 4.6 seconds, with a top track speed of 164 mph. Best of all, that’s all achieved with moderate emission and fuel consumption figures.
The Macan S is available at the base price of $49,000, and the power-package Macan Turbo can be purchased for $72,300, plus any additional options, taxes, dealer charges, and a $995 destination fee charge.
