"Governments are starting to recognize that efforts to reduce harm from prescription pain medication must not interfere with appropriate access," said Stephen J. Ziegler, PhD, JD. "Education remains a valuable resource that can help practitioners maintain the balance between preventing abuse and ensuring access." Dr. Ziegler is Associate Professor of Public Policy at Indiana University, Purdue University Fort Wayne, and he will be moderating PAINWeekEnd Indianapolis.

The conference, offering continuing medical/legal and clinical pain education, will take place at the Sheraton Indianapolis at 8787 Keystone Crossing.

By attending PAINWeekEnd Indianapolis, participants can receive 12.0 CE/CME credit hours as they enhance their skills in medication risk evaluation and mitigation, pain assessment and diagnosis, and delivery of individualized multimodal treatment.
