4) Securely wipe the data from the iPhone before giving it to anyone or sending it to any company. Sign out of iCloud. Back up the iPhone. In Settings, choose “Erase All Content and Settings”. Erase.
5) Make sure that the time it takes to get a quote to sell the iPhone, mail it in a pre-paid box, and collect payment is worth the time it takes to get it done.
