URAC Names Vice President of Finance and Accounting
Washington, DC (PRWEB) January 22, 2015 -- URAC, a leader in promoting healthcare quality through accreditation, education, and measurement programs names David Souders, CPA as vice president of finance and accounting reporting to William Vandervennet, chief operating officer of URAC. Souders will be responsible for all strategic and tactical matters as they relate to URAC’s financial operations.

Souders possesses over twenty years of demonstrated strategic financial and fiscal management experience. Prior to joining URAC, David worked at BDO USA, LLP providing consulting services for a variety of clients. He also worked for Colonial Parking, the Mid-Atlantic region’s leading provider of parking services and solutions as the chief financial officer. In several positions, David has designed and implemented processes and procedures to improve timeliness, transparency, and consistency in month-end closing schedule.

Souders earned an MBA, business administration and management, from Hood College and a Bachelor of Science in accounting at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, Pamplin College of Business. He is a Certified Public Accountant, certified in Maryland and Virginia and is a Chartered Global Management Accountant.
