URAC Welcomes New Director of Business Development
Washington, D.C. (PRWEB) January 22, 2015 -- URAC, a leader in promoting healthcare quality through accreditation, education, and measurement programs appointed Judy Wackenhut director of business development and sales.

Wackenhut, an experienced business development professional, with a history of sales and marketing excellence in the healthcare environment possesses a comprehensive background in account management, institutional sales, relationship management and team development. As a strategic sales leader with proficiency in developing tailored programs she has demonstrated expertise in developing client relationships and implementing actionable plans.

Prior to joining URAC, Wackenhut was area director of hospital account managers at Otsuka Pharmaceuticals and national account manager at Bayer Healthcare Pharmaceuticals. At both organizations she developed and implemented programs and plans that resulted in significant sales increases. Wackenhut spent the first twenty years of her career in clinical practice. Wackenhut also serves on the Auburn University Research Advisory Board
Wackenhut holds both a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Pennsylvania State University and a Master of Science in nursing from Catholic University.
