Urban Garden Supply to Open 10,000 Sq. Ft. Indoor Garden Wholesale Warehouse and Recycling Center
Clackamas, Oregon (PRWEB) July 01, 2015 -- With the impending legalization of marijuana set to go into effect on July 1st, indoor gardening is poised to take center stage as the primary growing method for most recreational and commercial growers. Along with this surge of indoor gardeners comes a variety of secondhand effects, including the environmental impact of increased waste materials created by the practice.
This is why we’ve chosen to open a brand new Wholesale Warehouse and Recycling Center. Our new indoor gardening recycling center will be the first of its kind. We’ll be accepting plastic containers, used scrap metal, old lamps, packaging and even used soil. We’re able to properly recycle and dispose of the excess waste products, lessening the environmental impacts.
With this new facility, we’ve become one of the largest distribution indoor garden centers in the Northwest, who delivers directly to the consumer. We’re positioned to supply everyone from the people who have a small grow just for themselves, to the commercial farms who supply product to dispensaries around town, with all of their indoor gardening needs.
As part of our growth, we’ve made a commitment to give back to the community whenever we can. As part of this commitment, we hold monthly fundraising activities in which all funds go to the Portland Community Garden. We also make ongoing donations to the Portland Public Schools Agricultural Program and hold our Annual Toy Drive for under-privileged children.
