Urban GIS Named Business Leader of the Year 2014 by Robert Morris University Illinois
Chicago, Illinois (PRWEB) November 20, 2014 -- For several years, the School of Business Administration at Robert Morris University Illinois has recognized area business leaders who have made significant contributions to the education and growth of students in the RMU business program with the Business Leader of the Year Award.
This year, Robert Morris was pleased to honor Keith Searles, president, and Jennessa Berg, urban planner, of Urban GIS, a consulting firm in Chicago that specializing in providing Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Urban Planning and asset management solutions. Together, Mr. Searles and Ms Berg have demonstrated a strong commitment to education and have provided vibrant experiences for RMU students with a passion for their fields through internships and projects. Urban GIS has worked with the RMU ICenter on multiple efforts in research, marketing, social media and corporate identity. They have hired two RMU students upon their completion of internships with the company: Josh Maglasang, BPS Architectural Tech and BBA Marketing, and Diana De La Cruz, BBA Management and Marketing.
Keith Searles and Jennessa Berg give back in and out of the classroom and make sure students have access to high level feedback and mentoring.
