US Sports Camps and Nike Softball Camps Return to the University Of The Incarnate Word For A Second Summer
San Rafael, CA (PRWEB) May 02, 2014 -- Due to popular demand, Nike Softball Camps will return to the University of the Incarnate Word June 16-19. Head Coach, Amanda Gamboa, will cover softball fundamentals, while bringing the energy to get every softball player fired up about improving. The camp is open for girls of all abilities, ages 8-18, and offers overnight and extended day programs.
Director, Amanda Gamboa, is entering her second season as the head coach of the University of the Incarnate Word softball program. After a successful first-year in 2013, she now faces the prospect of leading the program as a member of NCAA Division I and the Southland Conference in 2014. Gamboa's first year results include a 30-26 record and a trip to the NCAA Division II South Central Region Tournament. The highlights include winning a road series at #23 Angelo State and then winning a home series against #2 West Texas A&M. She had four players earn all-conference honors.
