US Sports Camps and Nike Ultimate Camps Collaborate with Major League Ultimate to Host New Summer Camps in 2015
San Rafael, Ca (PRWEB) November 19, 2014 -- Major League Ultimate is a professional ultimate league founded by Jeff Snader in 2012. Today MLU consists of 8 teams in 2 divisions. The Eastern Conference is home to Boston, New York, Philadelphia, and Washington DC, while the Western Conference features San Francisco, Portland, Seattle, and Vancouver.
For Summer 2015, the Boston Whitecaps, Philadelphia Spinners and Portland Stags will host Nike Ultimate Camps athletes in their local communities. Campers will participate in MLU player-designed drills and learn professional techniques to prepare them for a lifetime of ultimate frisbee success. Nike Ultimate Camps may add additional camps in other MLU cities, including New York and Washington D.C.
“This partnership between Nike Ultimate Camps and the MLU will pave the way for explosive growth in the high school and youth scene,” said MLU Commissioner Jeff Snader. “The biggest thing that youth players need now is direction and training. This allows them to harness the skills necessary to become effective and relevant players when they get on the field. We can’t wait to grow these camps all over the country.”
