US Sports Camps Unveils Its First Speed and Hurdles Camp in Southern California
San Rafael, CA (PRWEB) February 23, 2016 -- The Nike Malibu Speed & Hurdles Camp features Assistant Coach Venus Jewett and specializes in teaching the basics of speed to include technical, mental, and physical aspects of what it takes to be successful in sprinting events. This camp runs June 27-July 1 and July 25-29, 2016.
The Nike Malibu Speed & Hurdles Camp is an overnight camp open to girls entering grades 9-12. Campers reside in the dorms at the beautiful Pepperdine University, eat in the campus dining facility, and enjoy the majestic views of the world famous Malibu Beach and the Pacific Ocean. This program runs in conjunction with the cross country veteran camp, Nike Raditude Cross Country Camp in Malibu.
Sprinters have to have a mentality that mirrors none other. This speed camp not only helps develop speed, but helps develop a sprinters tactical mindset with mental toughness.
Head Coach Robert Radnoti directs the camp with the support of Assistant Coach Venus Jewett. Coach V is a NCAA D1 and USATF Elite Level 2 coach and is in her third year of coaching at Pepperdine.
