User1st Opens North America Headquarters in Washington D.C.
Washington, D.C. (PRWEB) December 19, 2016 -- User1st, a web accessibility company, has recently opened its North America headquarters in downtown Washington, D.C.
Officially launched in 2014, User1st offers innovative software solutions that enable companies to easily and efficiently ensure that their websites are compliant with the highest web accessibility standards and legislation, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Founded in Tel Aviv, Israel, User1st’s automated software system corrects accessibility issues across web pages by creating and applying accessibility skins that fit over the page without altering its content. The system can be activated automatically or by the request of a unique visitor with a single click of a button. Different accessibility skins accommodate different needs for different disabilities, such as partial/complete blindness, epilepsy, motor disability, and more.
The space which User1st now calls home, located at 555 12th Street NW, is designated as a Class A trophy building and is also LEED Gold certified. Within walking distance of the Metro Center subway station, the property is situated in a prime location to meet the needs of User1st’s diverse range of clients.
“In a city like Washington, D.C., location means a lot, and we couldn’t be more excited about our new office space,” said Amihai Miron, CEO and founder of User1st. “More than just being close to our clients and partners, as a growing company, we are very excited to be part of the city’s vibrant startup scene—D.C. is well on its way to becoming a new tech hub in the US.”
To date, User1st has raised over $5M in funding and currently has over 100 enterprise customers, including IKEA, INTEL, ELAL Airlines, F5 Networks, the Mexican Government, Georgia Tech University, and Master Card Israel.
