To highlight the progress in US-India relations, USINPAC has partnered with NewsX (India’s leading 24-hour English News Channel) to host an informative dialogue. The talk will focus on what the future holds with a new President in the White House for collaborations between the two nations. The dialogue will be on the 7th of June, on Capitol Hill.
Prime Minister Modi, visiting at the invitation of President Barack Obama, will be spending some 50 power packed hours in the nation’s capital. The White House schedule for June 7th features one on one meetings between the two leaders and at the delegation level, followed by a joint media conference. June 8th will feature an address to the joint session of the Congress, followed by four back to back meetings at the Hill, lunch with House Speaker Paul Ryan and a rare reception by the Senate and House foreign relations Committees and the India caucuses.
In the words of Sanjay Puri, Chairman of USINPAC, “Indian Americans have worked diligently for a decade to build strong and strategic relations between the two countries. We have made tremendous progress. Now it is time to celebrate. I invite you to join us in celebrating and recognizing these efforts and the people behind these efforts.”
