Vacanti Moves to InDemand to Continue Selling Spirale Wine Glasses After a Successful Kickstarter Campaign
DENVER, CO. (PRWEB) June 15, 2017 -- Margarita and Patrick Vacanti have announced their plan to continue selling Spirale, their premium wine glasses, through Indiegogo’s InDemand platform. Spirale, which raised over $87K on Kickstarter, features a patented spiral at the bottom of the bowl to capture sediment in wine. This design enhances the wine drinking experience by ensuring a smoother finish so consumers can savor and enjoy every sip.
“The idea for Spirale originated while drinking a bottle of red wine,” said co-founder and owner, Margarita Vacanti. “Being wine lovers, Patrick and I enjoyed every sip until the last - which was tainted with bitter sediment. We decided to find a solution that didn’t involve a filter or strainer as we wanted to just pour and enjoy. Inspired by the design of a corkscrew, Spirale was born.”
The hand-blown design is the perfect fusion of form and function. At the base of the bowl, entering into the stem of the glass, is the spiral where the sediment settles and separates from the wine. The sediment will remain in the spiral even when users tilt their glass to sip. The Vacanti team has worked hard to develop the perfect design that not only delivers, but is also aesthetically pleasing. Jennifer Rolander, Owner of Wine Cube Tours, located in Sonoma, California, testified, “This is the coolest and most wine-collector-friendly glass we have ever seen.”
Spirale has collected a wave of positive feedback from the general public and backers. The Vacanti Wine Glasses team has decided to continue collecting pre-orders over the next few weeks. Spirale is currently available in sets of two, four, eight, 12, and 72. While Kickstarter backers received the best deals on the wine glasses, InDemand backers can still purchase Spirale at a discounted rate. The team expects retail prices to start at $35 a stem, and are expected to ship by November 2017. For more information, visit the InDemand campaign at bit.ly/SpiraleIGG.
