Vanguard to Hold Two 2015 Security and Compliance Conferences at Eastern and Western U.S. Locations
Las Vegas, Nevada (PRWEB) October 21, 2014 -- Vanguard Integrity Professionals, the cybersecurity experts for System z, today announced it will hold two security and compliance conferences in 2015. The first conference will take place in the eastern U.S. in the spring. The second event will be held in the western U.S. in the fall.
“Vanguard Security and Compliance attendees spoke and we listened. We are bringing our annual event closer to more people by offering two conferences in two U.S. locations. In addition, each conference will be one day shorter than prior events,” said Steven Ringelberg, chief operating officer at Vanguard. “The new format will make it easier for more people to access the outstanding System z security and compliance training our educational forum has provided for 28 years.”
The 2015 events will run for two and one-half to three and one-half days, depending on the curriculum attendees select. The first two and one-half days of each event will include general sessions and four breakout session tracks: defending the mainframe, RACF basic administration, RACF advanced administration, and compliance and security hot topics. Each event will also include a full day of tools and techniques training on Vanguard security software solutions. More details on conference dates and locations will be available later this year.
Industry professionals interested in speaking at an event should submit a 100-word abstract and 50-word bio to Glory Wade at glory(dot)wade(at)go2vanguard(dot)com. The abstract should include a session title, not to exceed 75 characters, and a session description, not to exceed 100 words, that includes an overview of what will be presented and what attendees will learn.
