Vector Marketing Announces Southwest Region Team Builder Scholarship Winners
Mountain Brook, AL (PRWEB) June 07, 2016 -- Vector Marketing, the sales and marketing arm of Cutco Cutlery, has awarded 10 Team Builder Scholarships ranging from $100 to $1,000 to the top-selling sales team leaders in the Vector Southwest Region for Campaign I (January-April). Vector Marketing will award more than $10,000 in Team Builder Scholarships this year to student sales representatives with the highest personal sales and sales of their recruits.
Vector sales teams are comprised of a sales rep and all of the reps he or she recruits to sell Cutco Cutlery, the world’s finest knives. Some of the Vector’s best sales reps are those who are recruited by and work with their friends, said Brian Winans, Vector Southwest Region sales promotion manager.
The top Vector scholarship winner for Campaign I is Turner Beard, a 17-year-old student at Mountain Brook High School in Mountain Brook, Alabama. Beard, who joined Vector Marketing in January and works at the South Birmingham Office, personally recruited seven Vector sales representatives. Together they sold nearly $70,000 in Cutco Cutlery for the campaign covering January through April.
“I can’t explain how much this means to me and my parents. They are so proud of me,” said Beard. He added that he loves the flexible and fun environment at Vector Marketing. “The atmosphere is similar to hanging out with friends. Everyone jives well and comes together for a common goal of being the best-seller in the company.”
Vector Division Manager Brian Stephenson praised Beard’s work ethic and dedication. “Turner is one of the biggest team players I have worked with in my career. His selflessness and desire to help us achieve record-breaking numbers — while giving others a great opportunity — is evident in this amazing accomplishment. I am so proud and honored to have Turner earn this Team Builder Scholarship and represent our office in such a high-caliber way.”
The additional Vector scholarship winners for Campaign I are Dom Bilancia-Arcuri (with an impressive 16 personal recruits), Alex Chaves, Jackson Navarre, Harrison Robichaux, Ryan Valdez, Blake Peugh, Jacob Gonzalez, Tristan Maher and Zachery Hull.
