Vendor Centric Releases 2017 Uniform Guidance Research Report
GAITHERSBURG, MD (PRWEB) June 06, 2017 -- Vendor Centric, a leading procurement and vendor management consultancy, today announced the release of their report titled 2017 Uniform Guidance Survey of Federal Grant Recipients. Nearly 150 federal grant recipients managing over $1 billion in federal grants participated in the survey.
The report provides a summary and analysis of the results from Vendor Centric’s national survey of federal grant recipients conducted in March/April this year. The survey allowed for Vendor Centric to collect data from federal grant recipients, and share the analysis and insights with the sector as a whole.
Tom Rogers, Vendor Centric’s CEO, explains the reasoning for the survey. “The Uniform Guidance brought significant change. We wanted to know how thousands of federal grant recipients were accommodating these new regulations and, in turn, share what we learned back with the sector.”
The survey focused on gaining insights and real data on some of the important questions on the minds of many federal grant recipients including
- the biggest challenges grant recipients are facing as they implement the Uniform Guidance;
- how ready they are to implement the big changes required under the new procurement standards;
- whether implementing the Uniform Guidance has required them to expand internal resources; and
- the top priorities they’ll be focusing on in the near term.
“We hope our report provides federal grant recipients with practical insights along with the ability to evaluate their own progress against organizations most similar to themselves,” said Rogers.
