Verasset Celebrates 10 Year Anniversary

Launched in 2003, Verasset has amassed unique knowledge and experience as a result of the scale and scope of engagements it has conducted.
Over the past decade, our various engagements have brought us to some interesting and diverse places around the globe. From traveling to every major city in the world to catalog memorabilia, to the Middle East with average temperatures hovering around 120 degrees, to conducting inventory aboard a collection of priceless yachts.
One of the keys to Verasset’s longevity has been its ability to maintain high levels of quality while adapting to unique requirements and remaining cost effective. The overall quality of services and strong levels of customer satisfaction is attested to by repeat business earned from past customers. In the past six months alone, three of Verasset’s largest customers, such as Lockheed Martin, have re-engaged Verasset.
Verasset offers services at pre-determined fixed pricing coupled with a commitment to deliver results within stated timelines. When it comes to performing services such as physical inventory counting and reconciliation, time lapse presents a significant challenge. Changes within a customer environment impact the outcome of a project. During a recent engagement, Verasset successfully counted and reconciled 70,000 items for its customer within a four week time frame. Customers such as this realize that they could not achieve the same results on their own.
In addition to applying focus on quality, another key to success has been Verasset’s use and understanding of automatic data capture technologies. In the early days, the focus was on bar code technology. Verasset integrated that technology into its services and products. A few years ago, the focus began to shift to radio frequency identification (RFID). Verasset jumped ahead of the curve by embracing RFID in its infancy. Today, Verasset routinely utilizes RFID in service offerings and implementation of sustainment systems. Verasset was awarded an engagement recently to supply, implement and support an RFID network consisting of fifty portals overseas, which is currently underway.
Over the years, Verasset’s business has evolved. In keeping with that as well as looking forward to the next ten years, the company recently rebranded itself with a name change and the introduction of a new website.
