VersionOne® Winter 2016 Release Delivers End-to-End Visibility Across the Software Lifecycle
ATLANTA, GA (PRWEB) January 21, 2016 -- VersionOne, the independent leader in agile lifecycle management, today announced its Winter 2016 Release, which includes the launch of VersionOne Continuum, extending visibility across the entire software lifecycle from portfolio planning to continuous delivery. In addition, new Enterprise-Level Dashboards and Timesheets, plus updates to the Kanban TeamRoom™ and CommitStream™ improve end-to end visibility to drive better decision making and increase enterprise agility.
VersionOne Continuum gives organizations the ability to automate and orchestrate the flow of releases and associated changes throughout the software delivery lifecycle. Extending our Enterprise Agile Platform with Continuum provides a single, unified view across an organization’s existing development, test and deploy processes.
VersionOne’s Winter Release also includes the following enhancements:
- Enterprise-Level Dashboard – Provide executive stakeholders with access to enterprise-wide metrics and reports depicting throughput, predictability, responsiveness and quality to easily track progress, identify challenges and ensure alignment with business objectives. Enterprise-Level Dashboards are the most recent example of VersionOne’s ongoing support for SAFe 4.0, one of the world’s leading frameworks used by organizations to guide their large-scale, enterprise-wide agile implementations.
- Timesheets – Automatically aggregate time spent across work items and provide an easy way to view and edit weekly timesheets in a single screen, saving time, ensuring accuracy and reducing the hassles of double entry time keeping.
- Kanban TeamRoom – Enable teams with a Kanban TeamRoom that has been enhanced to include lean metrics, such as a cumulative flow, cycle time and throughput to better align with the Kanban process.
- CommitStream – Displays both child and parent work items when viewing a primary work item’s commits. In addition, commit comments include a hyperlink on the work item’s ID for quick access to work items with a single click.
“With the introduction of Continuum, VersionOne is providing unparalleled depth and breadth of visibility to all levels within an organization and across the entire software lifecycle,” said VersionOne CEO Robert Holler. “Unlike point solutions that only address one aspect of the software lifecycle or team-based tools that can result in significant organizational fragmentation, VersionOne’s unified platform enables improved decision making and enterprise-scale business agility.”
