Vertafore Boosts Growth Strategy Execution and Reinforces Industry Leadership with Executive Hires
Bothell, WA (PRWEB) January 15, 2014 -- Vertafore,the leading provider of software that transforms the business of insurance, today announced two executive appointments in support of its growth and quest to extend its leadership in the industry. First, Ken Bunney has joined the organization as the company’s new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Bunney comes to Vertafore from Reynolds and Reynolds, a leading provider of software to independent car dealers where he also served as CFO.
In addition to his finance responsibilities, Bunney will oversee Vertafore’s information security, legal and corporate development teams. Bunney brings over 25 years of experience in working in a private-equity-held business and played a strategic role on the Reynolds and Reynolds executive team which demonstrated an outstanding track record of revenue growth and margin improvement throughout his tenure.
In addition to Bunney’s appointment, Vertafore also announced that Guy Weismantel has joined the company as its new Vice President of Marketing.
Prior to Vertafore, Weismantel served as the Vice President of Global Marketing for Expedia’s Egencia business travel division. Before Expedia, he was a Global Director in Microsoft’s Dynamics business applications division. At both companies, Weismantel was instrumental in delivering innovative integrated marketing programs that contributed to strong revenue growth and increased brand strength in the marketplace.
