Verticalscope Inc. Adds New Powersports Editorial Director
Toronto, Canada (PRWEB) January 07, 2014 -- VerticalScope Inc. is expanding its powersports editorial capabilities with the addition of experienced powersports industry professional Sean Alexander. This move marks a continuation of the rapid growth the company has experienced in recent years and is designed to strengthen its ability to produce valuable and relevant content across numerous segments of the vertical.
VerticalScope’s CEO, Rob Laidlaw, said “The editorial division’s recent growth and diversification have created the opportunity to employ dedicated Editorial Directors for each of our verticals.” Laidlaw added: “This move will allow current VerticalScope Editorial Director Joe Magro to focus on new acquisitions in the Outdoors and Pets verticals, while also maintaining corporate oversight of the Powersports and Automotive editorial divisions.”
Alexander is assuming the role of Editorial Director for VerticalScope’s segment-leading powersports content sites, including: Motorcycle.com, ATV.com, Off-Road.com, PersonalWatercraft.com, Snowmobile.com and DirtBikes.com. He joins the company following successful stints as the publisher of Motorcycle.Com (acquired by VerticalScope in 2006) and most recently as the Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A. Account Manager at Freeman/McCue Public Relations.
