Veterans Are Valued As Both Corporate Employees and Business Owners at the Corporate Gray Military-to-Civilian Career Fair
Fairfax Station, VA (PRWEB) August 21, 2013 -- Corporate Gray, one of America's leading military-to-civilian career transition service firms, will partner with the Veterans' Transition Forum to add a "Franchise Fair for Veterans" to its next "Military-Friendly Job Fair" on Friday, September 13, at The Waterford Reception Center in Springfield, Va. Both events will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and are free for all transitioning service members, veterans, and military spouses; civilians are also welcome to attend at no charge.
Before the fairs begin, Phil Trigg of Veterans' Transition Forum and Nicole Porter of the Small Business Administration will discuss Franchising Opportunities at a one-hour seminar at 8 a.m. and subsequent mini-seminars throughout the Franchise Fair. Stephanie Goetsch, President of Spark Career Strategy, will also be presenting an 8 a.m. seminar titled "Job Fair In & Out Mastery: How to Make a Lasting First Impression."
Representatives from the Small Business Administration, along with franchise mentors who have prior military experience, will be available to discuss business opportunities at the Franchise Fair. Veterans will meet face-to-face with franchisors who are actively recruiting veterans to become business owners.
The Corporate Gray Military-Friendly Job Fairs attract dozens of employers and hundreds of candidates.
