Veterinary Science is Discussed in a New "In America" Segment with Host James Earl Jones
(PRWEB) January 21, 2015 -- In a new episode of “In America” with James Earl Jones, viewers will be introduced to the field of veterinary science. Huge improvements to the field have been made in the last few years, often keeping vets on par with our own doctors in terms of technology. The field, however, is constantly evolving.
Veterinary science has come a long way from treating household pets and livestock. Today’s vets can specialize in a wide diversity of animals, from the familiar dogs and cats, up to the odd duck, ferret, and even alligators. Additionally, services offered are now far more advanced. While the ability to heal the more curious of pets is seen as a huge benefit by many, it also raises questions in regards to cost and continuum of care.
These topics and many more are covered in the series, which focuses on educational content spanning many different areas of interest. Award-winning actor Jones lends his many years in the entertainment industry to host the program.
