VGI Medical, LLC (aka VG Innovations) Announces the Establishment of a National Sales Management Team
St. Petersburg, FL (PRWEB) January 21, 2014 -- Hollifield, over the last several months, has focused on establishing the sales team needed to support the growth of the current product portfolio as well as that expected from the upcoming new product releases.
Steve Allegaert joined the team as the Area Sales Director-West, focusing on expanding sales and distribution for the Western United States including Hawaii and Alaska. Allegaert joins VGI with an extensive medical device background having over 15 years in the orthopedic and neurosurgery market. Allegaert has experience with early stage companies as well as established device companies. His sales management background, along with his past experience as a distributor, will help VGI to expand upon their existing distribution network in the Western United States. Jon Nolan joined the team in December 2013 as the Area Sales Director-East, focusing on sales and distribution for the Eastern United States. Nolan served as an Officer in the United States Army and brings over 14 years of Medical Device - Biotechnology and leadership experience to VGI. Nolan brings a diverse background with experience in both public and private companies, direct and distributor models, as well as knowledge in the government and DoD sector. “VGI has some truly unique and innovative products – both current and pipeline. I’m excited to be working with such a talented group of people who combined have over 50 years of Medical Device experience. I look forward to being a part of VGI’s early stages and building my team from the ground up while supporting both our national and global goals.”
Both Allegaert and Nolan come to VGI with successful sales history’s and backgrounds in the spine market as well as long term surgeon, distributor and hospital relationships within the Neurosurgery and Orthopedic markets, making them well suited to expand the field education and sales distribution for VGI’s spinal devices.
