Vi at Bentley Village Announces Redevelopment Plan
Naples, FL (PRWEB) July 13, 2013 -- Vi at Bentley Village, a continuing care retirement community (CCRC) located off Rt. 41 in Naples, today announced that they are working towards the planned redevelopment of the community.
The redevelopment begins with a new, standalone sales center to be completed in 2014. Visitors to the new sales center will see the exciting plans for the community which are planned to include renovations to existing facilities, new clubhouses and additional independent living apartments. For these enhancements, Vi anticipates breaking ground in 2015.
Bentley Village opened its doors for business in 1985. Vi purchased Bentley Village in 1992 and immediately initiated a rehab and expansion process that was completed in 1999. In recent years, every resident room within its care center as well the main and private dining rooms also received a complete refurbishment.
Already considered unique among area continuing care retirement communities thanks to its 156-acre campus, manicured grounds, 18-hole executive golf course, 12 miles of walking trails and cart paths, and array of outdoor amenities including swimming pools, driving range, tennis and bocce courts, Vi at Bentley Village seeks to provide an even more distinctive and exclusive lifestyle.
"This redevelopment will enable us to provide our current and future residents with an even more enhanced living environment, greater services and more amenities," said Bentley's executive director Ann Walsh. "There will be exciting news to announce in the months ahead, and we'll keep both our residents and the community up-to-date on all major developments."
Walsh said they have already begun working with a local architecture firm. And while a specific groundbreaking date has not been set, redevelopment plans are progressing.
Walsh will be sharing the plan concept with residents today. A highlight will be the new clubhouses, often the focus of activity and recreation in the community.
It is anticipated that one new clubhouse will include new dining venues, a bar and lounge, living room, library, card room, theater, and multi-purpose area.
Always dedicated to the vitality and health of its residents, there are plans for a second clubhouse to include a comprehensive fitness center and aerobics rooms, plus a beauty salon and spa along with a new casual dining venue.
Walsh said there are also plans for new independent living apartments that will be connected to one of the new clubhouses which will enable residents to move from one to the other without going outside.
"We're excited to share these plans with our residents," said Walsh. "Their perspectives and opinions are very important to us; we will continue to have ongoing dialogue with the residents throughout the development."
Re-investing in Vi at Bentley Village is in keeping with Vi's ongoing dedication to meeting and even exceeding the high standards of its residents at each of its 10 communities in 6 states. Vi was founded in 1987 and since then has redefined senior living by blurring the line between retirement and resort.
