Victoria County Clerk to Implement Simplifile E-Recording Service on July 30
VICTORIA COUNTY, Texas (PRWEB) July 19, 2013 -- Victoria County Clerk Robert S. Cortez has announced his office will begin accepting electronic land documents on July 30, 2013, through Simplifile, the nation’s leading and largest electronic recording (e-recording) service provider.

Starting July 30, the county will begin accepting electronic document types dealing with real estate purchases, including deeds, deeds of trust, mortgage documents, and other documents commonly associated with closing transactions.
Cortez also shared more specific cost and time-saving benefits submitters will find with the newly available e-recording service such as faster, timelier document recording, reducing the potential of fraud, significant cost savings in postage and courier services, and avoiding the rush to the courthouse at the end of the month.
“The public will be better served with the reassurance their records will be kept safe and processed without delay,” Cortez said.
Victoria County will be the 46th Texas county to adopt Simplifile’s e-recording service.
