Victory Auto Wreckers Expands with Multi-million Dollar Upgrade
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) January 20, 2015 -- Victory Auto Wreckers, Inc. is completing a multi-million dollar upgrade to its recycling facility which will allow for inventory to expand from 350 cars to as many as 900 cars. In addition, a storm water management system has been installed, and the entire nine acre lot has been paved with asphalt.
People are used to acres of thick mud when they come for auto parts at Victory Auto Wreckers at 710 E. Green St., Bensenville, IL. Following a rain, many people had to throw away their shoes or boots after searching for parts.
Well, no more. Kyle Weisner, third generation owner of Victory Auto Wreckers, voluntarily enrolled in an EPA program to pave all nine acres with asphalt.
“We had the option to put gravel down, but in the end, we decided to use asphalt,” Weisner said. “It looks really nice for the customers, and it’s the right thing to do ecologically.”
Cars will be much more accessible and organized in the newly paved lot. All cars will be elevated on stands for safety and easy access to parts. Other improvements include a change to 100 percent self-service which will lower prices, because the customer is now doing the labor. To help customers, Victory is providing several large carts, wheelbarrows and engine hoists for use, free of charge.
“We’re open seven days a week,” Weisner said. “Our inventory changes daily, so we update our website each day as well. In addition, our customers can get a quote for what we will pay for their unwanted car by entering the make, model and year on our website. A quote will appear in seconds.”
Victory Auto Wreckers is a family-owned, three generation business that has been in the same location since it was founded at the end of World War II in 1945.
Victory has been buying cars and selling parts for more than 70 years. Victory’s large fleet of tow trucks can handle picking up a single vehicle from an individual or hundreds of vehicles from an impound lot or donation facility.
