VideoCloud Cirrus Update: 12 New Features & Enhancements Announced

One of the leading features added to the VideoCloud service through the Cirrus update includes Instant Messaging, providing chat functionality between browsers, Skype for Business, Microsoft Lync, video conferencing software and video endpoints, making the offering much more versatile for businesses looking to unify their communications.
Content sharing has been improved too, allowing images, PDF’s and documents to be easily shared directly from any browser, including Internet Explorer and Safari; a feature that has previously been only available across the industry to Chrome and Firefox users.
Microsoft Lync and Skype for Business users also gain access to a whole host of new features and functionality; With a number of integration enhancements for this already highly interoperable service, S4B and Lync organisations also now benefit from audio-to-video escalation for Lync audio-only calls and automated content resizing if the Lync user only shares an application.
Aside from user friendly features & updates, the highly interoperable VideoCloud 365 platform has had had a number of enhancements at the back end too. Improvements in policy and security, additional audio and video codecs supported including G.719, simplified device registration and and local time zone improvements for the VideoCloud Dashboard is ensuring that the VideoCloud is providing UK and worldwide businesses with the highest quality professional video collaboration features through the most interoperable solution available on the market today.
