Vidisco Releases a New Video Clip about the Slider XL, the X-ray Accessory that Allows for Large Area Scanning Without Compromising the Quality of the Image
(PRWEB) January 29, 2015 -- On January 22, Vidisco released a video clip about one of its most popular X-ray accessories.
The Slider XL, quadruples the scanning area of the FlashX Digital X-ray System without compromising the resolution, penetration and dynamic range. This new accessory can scan large areas of up to 840 mm x 660 mm. It has never been easier to X-ray large items in the field.
The Slider XL, working with the FlashX offers a dynamic range of 16 bit (65,536 grey levels), resolution of ~3.5 lp/mm (behind 3mm of steel) and a penetration which allows you to see up to 2 mm of lead behind 80 mm of steel. It is created for field use as it is self-standing, portable, fully battery operated and has a built-in wireless option.
The Slider XL is ideal for the Security market and can be used for such applications as border control and IED disposal. As seen in the video clip, the Slider can be set up in a couple of minutes. With a click of a button, four X-ray images are taken and “sewn” together automatically by the Xbit software that comes with the system. This, in turn, creates a larger image with the same high quality and clarity as Vidisco’s customers are used to.
Vidisco, a world leader in developing and manufacturing cutting-edge digital X-ray equipment, invites you to check out its YouTube Channel with dozens of video clips about its products, applications and more.
