Viewpoint and Comdata Enhance Integration to Automate Payment Processes

(PRWEB) July 13, 2015 -- Viewpoint Construction Software and strategic partner, Comdata, now offer tighter product integration between Vista, Viewpoint’s leading construction Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and Comdata’s Virtual Payment MasterCard solution providing customers a more secure and effective electronic process for paying vendors.
For construction firms, building efficient AP processes translates to using an electronic payables solution that streamlines the payment process. The latest release of Vista by Viewpoint includes new integration features with Comdata to automate the electronic payment process in three ways.
First, new FTP functionality allows for two-way transmission of payment and reconciliation files, eliminating the need to leave Vista to use a third party FTP client. Second, a new prompt to upload to Comdata promotes faster payment processing while reducing errors and delays with just a click of a button. Finally, files received from Comdata can now update the AP Payment History in Vista with payment information specific to each transaction.
