Vigilante Diaries Star Kevin L. Walker stars in Gritty Detroit Based Film, "Pope"
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) June 08, 2015 -- Kevin L. Walker's breakout year continues as the “Vigilante Diaries” star has now lands a lead role in the upcoming film, "Pope." The story follows a young Detroit street kid named "Pope" and his childhood friends, as they try to provide a better life for what remains of their broken families.
Walker will play one of Pope's closest confidants ("Terry"), and is confirmed to star opposite Glenn Plummer (Speed/South Central/Sons of Anarchy ), Noel Guglielmi (Training Day/Furious 7), and Neil Brown Jr., (Straight Outta Compton).
"Pope" is directed by Darren Brown, produced by Noel Gugliemi & Kharisman Brown, and was filmed on the gritty streets of Detroit, Michigan. An area especially familiar with Walker's work due to his appearance on the controversial episode of Investigation Discovery's "Murder Book," where he portrayed the real life story of stabbing victim, Andrew 'Melvin' Weathers.
Walker is definitely a star on the rise, and someone to look out for. For more information on "Pope" check out the trailer (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1maqEnj6HBo), and for more information on Walker, his up coming projects, and to connect with him, see his official website below.
