Virginia Butler Gray: 'Seeing life through the eyes of a child'
BOSTON (PRWEB) January 29, 2015 -- Young children often encounter social situations and are unsure of how to respond.
Spending the last 23 years teaching elementary students, Virginia Butler Gray was inspired to write a book that would help children deal with stress by giving them fun ways to look at situations with a new perspective.
Using a pair of glasses as a tool, “My Magic Glasses” teaches children to pay attention to how they feel and understand that they are in control of their emotions.
“This is a fun book with serious undertones that will teach young children to notice and value their own feelings,” said Gray. “It is my hope that as children and their parents share this book it will become a resource for discussing other situations as they come up.”
By blending rhymes and problem-solving skills, children will not only learn how to express themselves more effectively, they will go on an imaginative adventure that will captivate their young minds.
