Virginia's Largest Research University Introduces New Online MBA
FAIRFAX, Va. (PRWEB) October 26, 2017 -- George Mason University’s School of Business announces a new part-time online MBA degree mirroring its AACSB-accredited on-campus program, which is recognized as one of U.S. News & World Report’s Best Part-time MBAs. The online MBA degree can be completed in less than three years, with an optional weeklong residency abroad and Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics built into the program.
Students develop their analytical, managerial, and interpersonal skills in a comprehensive, 48-credit hour program. Part-time, online format provides greater flexibility and accessibility for working professionals and parents who cannot attend an on-campus MBA degree program.
“Our location, steps from Washington D.C., gives online students unparalleled access to the economic and policy-making world stage,” says Maury Peiperl, Dean, School of Business. “The cutting edge research and practical experience of our faculty are preparing the next generation of business leaders.”
The online MBA program’s global perspective and cohort structure makes it unique. Students have the ability to select courses, electives, and an optional certificate in Business Analytics, which allow them to focus on a specific job or industry area. Many on-ground MBA program graduates experience pay raises, promotions, and career advancements, while benefiting from lifelong access to Mason’s career services.
“The market reflects the need for well-trained MBAs who can face the complex challenges of so many businesses, governments and public institutions across the globe. We are committed to bringing this level of business education to qualified, able-minded students who otherwise wouldn’t have access to it,” added Victoria Grady, Academic Director, MBA Program
Qualified candidates should already have a four-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, a minimum of two years professional work experience, and meet GPA and testing requirements. An admissions officer is available at 844-851-0923 and more information can be found at https://landing.masononline.gmu.edu/mba.
