(PRWEB UK) 23 October 2013 -- It has been reported by Triple Pundit on October 22 that the American discount chain Walmart has announced it will open the store lit entirely using LED lights in a bid for the nationwide adoption of the energy efficient lights. The new store in South Euclid, Ohio will have LED lights installed throughout the premises, from lights in the car park to fridges in store.
Installing these energy efficient lights isn’t the first step the supermarket chain has taken to reduce their carbon emissions and improve energy efficiency. In 2005, the store began using LED lighting in freezers, as well as using the lighting systems in car parks and sales floors.
