Visible Spectrum Introduces Automated Video Ad Customization Tool

(“VSI”), provider of a web-based service for creating targeted videos for any platform, announced today they have released a Beta version of its new “automated ad customization” functionality to key clients. This new tool has the ability to create dozens to hundreds of custom versions of a master creative theme in minutes with minimal effort and cost, which until now, was one of the main barriers to target advertising.
“There has never been a simpler way to streamline the creative process, while maintaining quality and keeping production costs down,” said Visible Spectrum CEO and Founder, John Malec.
The intuitive tool simply requires users to upload a spreadsheet with columns and rows of variables to be auto-filled (such as product image, file name, price, store number and/or demographic segment). Additionally, the actual images are uploaded as a folder and multiple image and text fields can also be auto-filled.
To associate the database with the creative treatment the user selects the project of interest and clicks “automate” in their “My Projects” folder. Drop down lists let them pick the uploaded database to use. They choose which text column to use for text fields and which image column for image fields. In real time they can then review every version created and/or send them to render in their selected format. Essentially, there is no limit on the number of customizations that can be done at any one time. The customization fee per version is $15 or less depending on the volume.
Anyone can try VSI’s tool at http://www.visiblespectrum.com at no cost. Users create an account to begin, paying nothing unless they want delivery or download of the finished composition. This allows users to experience the complete tool from a trial standpoint, in turn ensuring that the final product is satisfactory before making a purchase. VSI provides direct upload to YouTube and Brightcove as well as direct file download or delivery via an FTP site.

Alone among custom video creation platforms, VSI’s templates are able to use full motion vector graphics. VSI also provides collaboration and review/approve modules. White Label Licensees are able to provide VSI’s functionality on their own web site, wrapped in their own branding; and, via API, deliver video files directly into their Content Management Software (CMS).
