VISN23 Selects Visage 7 for Enterprise Imaging

Visage Imaging Inc. (“Visage”), a wholly owned subsidiary of Pro Medicus Ltd. (ASX: PME), announced today that the Visage® 7 Enterprise Imaging Platform has been selected by the VA Midwest Health Care Network (also known as Veterans Integrated Service Network 23 [VISN23]) for regional diagnostic interpretation and referring physician image access using a single, powerful enterprise viewer. Visage will consolidate, simplify and deliver ultrafast regional image access across VISN23’s 11-hospital network serving 400,000 enrolled US Veterans.
The enterprise-wide viewing solution will provide authorized radiologists and referring physicians access to VISN23’s nearly 500,000 annual diagnostic imaging studies using the Visage 7 thin-client, as well as using Visage Ease℠ for mobile image access*. Visage will deliver enterprise imaging powered by server-side processing across the states of Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and portions of Illinois, Kansas, Missouri, Wisconsin and Wyoming.
In addition to Visage 7, VISN23 has selected the Medicalis Professional Solution (Medicalis Corp.) for enterprise workflow, and the Acuo Universal Clinical Platform (Perceptive Software) for vendor neutral archive. Delivered as a comprehensive, region-wide integrated solution, VISN23 radiologists and clinical users will have access to a single store of current and prior images (Acuo Universal Clinical Platform), from a single workflow solution (Medicalis Professional Solution), leveraging a single enterprise viewer (Visage 7).
