Vista IT Group Nominated into Hewlett Packard Enterprise's Replacement Parts Business Partner Program
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (PRWEB) November 07, 2017 -- Vista IT Group, a thirty-year-old national technology provider and systems integrator announced today it was named a partner in Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s (HPE) strategic Replacement Parts Business (RPB) program.
Part of Hewlett Packard Enterprise Technology Services (TS) Business Unit, the RPB program supports a network of HPE Authorized Parts Resellers who lead the marketing and sales efforts of Certified HPE Genuine Replacement Parts in the North American business partner and end-user eco system.
“This was not an easy authorization to obtain,” said Jeff Stevens, President of Vista IT Group. “Conversations with HPE started almost a year ago. Vista went through a vigorous vetting process to be named a partner so quickly in HPE’s Replacement Parts Business program.” Stevens goes on to say, “HPE was very specific about what they were looking for. They only wanted partners who have the technical, warehouse, and logistical resources capable of supporting the supply chain needs of HPE resellers and their customers all over the country. There aren’t very many companies out there who can meet those standards.”
The HPE spares program is intended to provide more immediate access to genuine, high-quality, manufacturer-warranted spare parts. This is achieved by concentrating distribution efforts through a select group of business partners for the most common components in HPE’s industry standard ProLiant servers and networking product lines.
“This was a big win for us,” said Matt Burch, Sales Manager at Vista IT Group. “HPE is our biggest product line by far. We recognized the synergies of the program right away. We’re one of few providers out there with the sales, technical and logistical resources in enterprise HPE to qualify for such a program.” When asked about the impacts to the business since picking up this authorization, Burch continues, “We’ve been getting inquiries from all over the country since the day it was announced.”
